KMF’s portfolio primarily includes customer-specific cylinders for a large number of mobile applications, such as innovative solutions for the agricultural and construction machinery industry and auxiliary drives for commercial vehicles as well as customized hydraulic assemblies.

KMF Kemptener Maschinenfabrik stands out from the competition in particular due to its innovative piston rod production. All piston rods are induction hardened and hard chromium plated with a double layer in the in-house electroplating department. With this comprehensive in-house production, KMF sets the standard in this segment.

KMF develops and produces hydraulic and pneumatic actuating cylinders for vehicle brakes as well as special suspension and damping systems.

KMF consolidates all manufacturing methods under one roof. This comprehensive production process guarantees the highest possible quality standards. As a system supplier, KMF Kemptener Maschinenfabrik develops customized products for specific requirements based on its customers’ specifications. This is combined with in-depth support in every single phase of the project.

Calculations and designs are carried out according to DIN, ISO, AD and industry standards. Strength calculations and resulting component optimizations are mapped in the Pro/Engineer 3D CAD system.

All operations up to chromium-plating and Teflon coating are performed in house. Dynamic and fatigue testing is conducted on in-house test equipment. In combination with validation at the customer’s location, KMF guarantees excellent product quality until the start of production.
